Rachel Orrell | Certified Data Analyst
Hello
I'm Rachel Orrell. I'm fascinated by data and as a former software engineer I'm also excellent at coding. I specialize in Python and SQL, but I'm skilled in Excel and Tableau and I'm learning R as well. Data visualizations are my passion, but of course I am also more than competent in data wrangling and cleaning.
My Story
I started coding when I was about 13. I made my first website about my cat at the time, Bobo. Much, much later, I fell out of love with software engineering and needed a new direction. I found that many of my skills were applicable to data analysis, but I could use them in a new and exciting way. I ate up all the tutorials I could and eventually landed in a bootcamp.
In my free time I enjoy my cat and computer games and ice skating. I live in Oakland, California and enjoy whale watching as well.
